The ingredients

  • 10 g basil, fresh
  • 5 g chives
  • 1/4 bunch of radishes
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 120 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 1 lemon
  • 200 g chick peas, tin or jar
  • 60 g Tahin (sesame paste)
  • 1 tsp cumin, ground
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • some baguette

The preparation

Hummus is a delicious, vegan paste from the Arabic kitchen. With a few simple steps you make them from chickpeas - just add some lemon, basil and Mix garlic to a firm paste and puree until creamy. Then you take a hand razor-sharp WÜSTHOF cook's knife and cut the market-fresh vegetables into precise small quarters or perfect cubes, quickly garnish with a little chives, put them on a plate and and bon appétit.
