The new PRO range of professional knives from cutlery specialist WÜSTHOF is perfect for withstanding everyday use in restaurant chains and large kitchens, catering or service areas. This knife range, which is popular with professional chefs, is now available in even more blade varieties.
They also feature new coloured handles to help you work in compliance with HACCP regulations.
Whether you want to cut raw meat, fresh vegetables or vitamin-packed fruit, the colour coding ensures that the right knife with the relevant handle colour is always used for the task for which it is intended.
The colour differentiation also makes the work flow easier and increases hygiene levels when preparing meals.
There are six handle colours to choose from (black, yellow, red, blue, green and white).
This means that each workstation can be supplied with the right professional knives to suit the field of application and the food to be chopped, thus preventing any cross-contamination or confusion. The blades made from high-quality chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel have outstanding sharpness and long-lasting edge retention. The polished blade surface means that the knives hardened to 56 HRC are easy to clean and extremely well-protected against corrosion.
The ergonomically shaped special handle is made from two non-slip plastic components. Soft and non-slip on the outside, tough and solid on the inside, it fits nicely in the hand. The handle makes the work easy and less tiring. The handle and blade merge seamlessly into one another. There are no joints where dirt or food particles can collect.
All knives are NSF certified and fulfil HACCP regulations.
